She was predeceased by: her parents, Aswell Dupre and Mable Meche; her son Kenneth Wayne Leger; her grandson Henri Edwards Leger; her brother Harold Dupre; and her nephew Timothy Dupre.
She is survived by: her husband Roland Leger of Opelousas; her sons, Patrick Vidrine (Darlene) of Washington and Roland "Possum" Leger of Washington; her grandchildren, Lova Leger, Seth Leger (Kelsey), Amanda V. Little (Chad) and Maggie Vidrine (Brodderick Garrett); her great grandchildren, Hunter Leger, Chase Leger, Kaleigh Little, Tanner Little, Ethan Little, Noah Vidrine and Nora Vidrine; and her nieces, Cynthia Stelly of Krotz Springs and Mable Breaux of Port Barre.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
