She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd J. Brown; her parents, Freddie Lee Davis and Eleanor Harrison Davis; her siblings, Minister Eddie Lee Davis, J. C. Davis, Lena Mae Davis and Emma Lee Comeaux; her brothers-in-law, Joseph Bernard Chavis, Leslie Comeaux and McArthur Tyler; and also Audrey Mae Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Brown (Sandra), Loretta Brown and Carleen Brown; her siblings, Rev. Percy Davis (Glenda), Bernice Tyler, Jeanetta Davis and Thomas (John); her sister-in-law Carolyn Allen Davis; her aunts, Ethel Henry and Josephine Larkins; her grandchildren, Lisa Brackett, Jennifer Cain, Alonzo Cain and Donovan Johnson; her great grandchildren, Jelisa Brackett, Jayla Cain and Kay-Kay Johnson; and her pets, Trinket and Lexi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
