It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tyana Marie Thomas (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 32, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Baby Boy Malik, Jr.; her grandparents, Harry Gorman and Elizabeth Gorman; her great-grandparents, Ida Mae Thomas and Johnny Alvin Thomas, Sr.; her brother Jarrell Thomas; and her godmother Theresa Thomas.
She is survived by: her parents, Harry Gorman of New Orleans, LA and Louise of Washington; her stepfather Welton of New Orleans, LA; her children, Quamae Mallet of Opelousas, LA, Qualyn Mallet of Opelousas, LA and Myana Guillory of Opelousas, LA; her siblings, Harry Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Cedrick Thomas (Shanique), Welton, Jr. (Demon McMillan) of Washington, Darius Johnson (Roy Thomas) of Slidell, LA and Kendra of New Orleans, LA; her grandparents, Joann Norman and Leroy Norman; and her close friends, Sharona Glaude, Brittney Hudson, Darlisha Fabrue, Dree Hicks, Ty Mallet and Missy Lazard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
