We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 88, Theresa Thibodeaux of Opelousas, Louisiana passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Leday and Lula Leday; her grandparents, Charles and Elvora DuRosseau; and her brother Robert Leday.
She is survived by: her husband Goldman Thibodeaux of Mallet; her sons, Charles Thibodeaux of Lafayette and Dana Thibodeaux of Opelousas; her sister Leonna Leday Johnson of Church Point; her grandchildren, Taylor J., Miles, Hailey, Trent and Brock "Bat" Thibodeaux; and her great grandchild Luna Thibodeaux.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (8348 US-190, Opelousas, LA 70570). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Ann Cemetery (979 U. S. Hwy 190, Lawtell, LA 70550).
