She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Raymond Prejean; her parents, Darbus Richard and Lelia Comeaux Richard; and her siblings, Joycelyn "Lolly" Goudeau, Betty Doucet, Helen "Bobby" Lavergne, Jeanette Benoit and Ray Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Prejean (Laurie) of Pearl River, Phyllis Prejean Castille of Opelousas and Catherine Prejean Stanford (Ira "Bo" Stanford, Jr.) of Opelousas; her sister Sandra Fontenot of Eunice; her grandchildren, Brandon Stanford (Karen), Dustin Stanford (Dana), Alex Stanford (Charlie Danielle), Kimberly Castille Anderson (Chris), Eric Prejean (Sable) and Kevin Prejean; and her great grandchildren, Ray Prejean, Sloane Prejean, Braylon LeBlanc, Cullen Stanford, Ana-Kathryn Stanford, Amelia Anderson, Estella Anderson, Christian Anderson and Luke Stanford.
