It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Russell (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on July 27, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lewis, Sr. and Lela Ware Lewis; her brothers, Ernest "Charles" Lewis and John Lewis; her nephew Javon St. Jacque Thibodeaux; and her grandparents, Eugene Lewis, Amelia Owens Lewis, Ernest "Jack" Ware, Eva Brown Ware and Mary Bienvenieu.

She is survived by: her children, Edward N. Russell, II of Charlotte, NC and Toni A. Hollins of Pelham, AL; her siblings, Herbert Lewis, Jr. (Dorothy) of Opelousas, LA, Oliver Ray Lewis (Vera) of New Iberia, LA, Doris Harris of Opelousas, LA, Dian Lewis of Opelousas, LA, Patsy A. Lewis of Opelousas, LA, Debra Lewis of Opelousas, LA and Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; and her grandchildren, Tommie Hollins, III, Treson Hollins and Cameron Russell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
