With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ryan Fontenot of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on December 12, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Youle Fontenot and Theresa Brown Fontenot; his brother John Rayburn "Ray" Fontenot; and his brothers-in-law, Martin St. Amand and Bernel Fontenot.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille Joubert Fontenot of Lawtell; his sons, Philip Fontenot of Lawtell, David Fontenot (Sunnie) of Lawtell and Billy Fontenot of Eunice; his sisters, Lucy St. Amand of Opelousas and Jane Fontenot of Opelousas; his sister-in-law Judy D. Fontenot of Grand Prairie; and his granddaughter Amelie Claire Fontenot of Lawtell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
