She was predeceased by: her son Ray Richard of Opelousas, LA; her parents, Houston Douresseau and Emily Douresseau; and her siblings, John Douresseau, Ben Douresseau, Joe Trail and Rose Leger.
She is survived by: her husband Rogers Richard of Opelousas, LA; her children, Bryan Richard (Kim) of Opelousas, LA, Adrian Richard (Tracy) of Opelousas, LA, Kathy Boudreaux (John) of Opelousas, LA, Tiffany Wright (Kenneth) of Opelousas, LA, Crystal Richard (Lionel) of Opelousas, LA and Emily Richard of Opelousas, LA; and her siblings, Al Douresseau (Olamae) of Houston, TX, Annie Chevis (Nelson) of Opelousas, LA, Loucille Richard (Herbert) of Opelousas, LA, Helen Valmont (Wilman) of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Douresseau of Opelousas, LA and Linda Douresseau of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
