She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph Lee Lalonde; her parents, Ernest Bourgeois and Avie Marie Thibodeaux; her siblings, Ray Bourgeois, Armand Bourgeois (Jane) and Wilma Richard (Alex); and her brother-in-law Tony DiFraia.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Neil Lalonde (Christina) of Pearl River, Angela Duos (Phillip) of Crowley and Cassie LeJeune (Arlen) of Opelousas; her grandchildren, Alaina Duos, John Duos (Carleigh), Natalie LeJeune, Anna LeJeune and Avery Lalonde; her great grandchild Emmett Duos; her siblings, Rufus Bourgeois (Lucy) of Lafayette, Jim Bourgeois (Violet) of Baton Rouge, Gloria Bodi (Joseph) of Greenwell Springs, Lucille Matt (Bert) of Lawtell and Mary Helen DiFraia of Marepas; her sister-in-law Clara Bourgeois of Pineville; and her grandsons, A. J. LeJeune, Matt Citron, Perry Fontenot, Justin Boyd and Michael Darbonne. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Opelousas Catholic School for renovations.
