She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlotte Pickens Taylor and Steven Callier; her daughter Bonnie Hope Pickney; and her siblings, Arthur Lee Taylor, Ethel Lee Pickney and Mary Lou Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Joseph Pickney of Opelousas, LA; and her children, Gene Earl Pickney of Opelousas, LA, Christopher Joseph Pickney (Ebonee) of Orlando, FL, Angela Pickney of Opelousas, LA, Charlotte Minnix (Kevin) of Opelousas, LA and Patty Fountain (Abraham) of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Williams Funeral Home (1125 Rev. E. D. Alfred St, Ville Platte, LA 70586).
