She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Derrick Fontenot (Kristin) of Krotz Springs, Courtney Johns (Tyler) of Deville, Dylan Fontenot (Brianna) of Carencro and Dakoda Fontenot of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Bennett, Lane, AnnaClaire, Maverick and Mattie; her siblings, Jessica Daville of Lawtell, Charles Daville (Sheri) of Prairie Ronde, Rachel Daville Murray (Craig) of Albany and Greg Deville (Julie) of Nuba; her half-sister Cheryl Daville of Esterwood; her husband Steven Fontenot; her parents, Joyce Danos and Arva Lee Daville; her half-sisters, Karen Deshotel, Sarah Deshotel and Tammy Baudin; and her grandparents, Averence Eve Daville, Vernice Prudhomme Daville, Lester and Berdna Danos.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
