She was predeceased by: her husband James Richard; her parents, Clement Stelly and Leah Hollier Stelly; her granddaughter Elena Reine Thibodeaux; her siblings, George Stelly, Emery Stelly, Wilman Stelly, Joseph Stelly, Norman Stelly, Patrick Stelly, Doris Arnaud, Mary Joyce Richard and Etheline Stelly; and her daughter-in-law Bonnie B. Richard.
She is survived by: her children, John Aubrey Richard and Darlene Richard-Castille (Carl Castille); her sisters, Georgie "Jane" Stelly and Gloria Taylor; and her grandchildren, John Saint James Richard, Freddie James Richard, Elvis Aaron Richard, Thomas Richard, Amanda Richard, Virgil Cane Richard, Martin Dale Richard, Jr. and Lillyanna Alida Richard. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
