He is survived by: his children, Jessica Charles (Ansinneo, Sr.) of Opelousas, LA and Christopher Ragland of Sunset, LA; and his siblings, Burley Simon (Carolyn) of Opelousas, LA, Larry Simon (Judy) of Opelousas, LA and Irma Simon Andrus of Washington, LA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
