It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raylin Chapman Sr. of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Raylin James Chapman, Jr. (Jessica), Donald Comeaux, Monica Barrett (Shannon), Michelle Pappillon (Ronald) and Tina Martel (Dustin); his siblings, Gerald Chapman (Linda), Lionel Chapman (Barbara), Ricky Chapman (Justine), Vicky Chapman Savoy, Nettie Darbonne (Luke) and Barbara Lafleur; his wife Myrna Chapman; his children, Katina Marcantel and Chad Comeaux; his parents, Atenis Chapman and Helen P. Pitre; his grandchildren, Chase Poncho and Kyra Chapman; and his sister Geraldine Hebert. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
