It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raphael Guidry (Opelousas, Louisiana), born in Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice Fuchs; his granddaughter Andrea Beth Lejeune; his parents, Ulinor J. Guidry and Aurelia Taylor; and his siblings, Leo Taylor, Sam Guidry, Claude Guidry, Fred Guidry, Lloyd Guidry, Sidney Guidry, Odette Lanclos, Lily McDaniel and Lou Patin.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Guidry (Louise) of Leander, TX, Glenn Guidry (Susan) of Opelousas, Brenda Stephens (Kenneth) of Opelousas and Paula Lejeune (Deacon Barney) of Carencro; his son-in-law Jeff Fuchs of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Stephen Bodman of York, PA, Alaina Castilla (Ruben) of Cedar Park, TX, Kimberly Latiolais (Jude) of Houston, TX, Paul Guidry (Catrina) of Lafayette, Christopher Stephens and Amy Boudreaux (Ross) of Leander, TX; and his great grandchildren, Anna Grace Bodman, Brynn Bodman, Olivia Castilla, Tripp Castilla, Lilliana Boudreaux, Mia Boudreaux, Naomi Boudreaux, Hunter Guidry and Hailey Guidry.
