He is survived by: his wife Xieu Nguyen; his daughter Lyna Trieu Soileau (Garrett Soileau); his grandchildren, Isaac and Khai; his daughter Tina Trieu (Hoang Nguyen); his grandchild Eliana; his great grandchildren, Tommy Trieu and Anthony Trieu; his father Tai Tan Nguyen; his siblings, Dung Van Nguyen (Bich-Thuy Nguyen) and Anh-Ngoc Nguyen (Van-Ton Nguyen); and his nieces and nephews, Dang Thanh Nguyen, Hai Dang Nguyen and To-Nu Nguyen. He is also survived by his wife's aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
