It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Whorley Thibodeaux (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 20, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Thibodeaux and Octavia Chenier Thibodeaux; his siblings, Howard Thibodeaux, Raymond Thibodeaux and Phillis Thibodeaux; and his nephew Fredrick Thibodeaux.
He is survived by: his wife Nettie Joyce Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; his children, Katherine Thibodeaux Gradnigo (Craig) of Opelousas, LA, Peter Thibodeaux, Jr. (Kaminah) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Imelda Thibodeaux (Clayton) of Breaux Bridge, LA and Timothy Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA; his grandchildren, Teranda, Nettie "Mona", Natasha, Sheleah, Markeya, Mark Jr., Italia, Zhyria and Alyson; and his great grandchildren, Daeshawniece, Khrystian, Dream, Keiran, Justice, Dallas and Jeremiah. He is also survived by six brothers, six sisters and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
