He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Brown and Mary Brown; his son Lil Paul "Blue" Thomas (Jynia) of Lake Charles, LA; his siblings, Anthony Brown and Catherine Brown Clark; and his grandparents, Beatrice Chenier, Curley Thomas, Agnes and Tophile Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Thomas of Sulphur, LA; his daughters, Charlene Darjean (Randy) of Carencro, LA, Darlene Malveaux of Opelousas, LA, Pauline Davis of Baton Rouge, LA, Patricia Davis of Baton Rouge, LA and LaQuinta Johnson (David) of Sulphur, LA; his siblings, Robert Thomas (Rockell) of Chataignier, LA, Daniel Brown (Lisa) of Baton Rouge, LA, Gaile Johnson (Patrick) of Opelousas, LA, Barbara Jenkins (Micheal) of Opelousas, LA, Annie Roberts (Joseph) of Opelousas, LA and Mary Dabney of Opelousas, LA; and his godfather L. B. Robertson of Opelousas, LA. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved dearly; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
