Paul Buller Obituary

Opelousas – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mr. Paul E. 'Smitt' Buller on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Washington. Fr. Matthew Higginbotham will conduct the mass. The rosary will be recited prior to the Mass at 12:30 p.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington.

Paul entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Opelousas General Hospital.

Paul is survived by his sons, Wynn Buller (Shala) of Opelousas, Don Buller (Kay) of Grand Prairie and Will Buller (Ryan) of Opelousas; Daughters, Nancy Buller of Boyce, Allison B Doucet (Kyle) of Grand Prairie and Dee Dee Buller of Bunkie; Brother, Marvin Buller of Garland; sisters, Agnes LeBlanc of Garland, Sara Soileau (Raynold) of Washington, Gayle Boudreaux (Ike) of Lebeau, Alida Lugo of Metairie, and Evelina Soileau (Charles) of Garland; grandchildren, Lauren B. DiLorenzo, Katie Buller, Bethany B. Lail, Kelsey Doucet, Dylan Buller, Jade B. Degruise, Olivia D. Thomas, Brennan Buller, Hannah Buller, Micah Buller, Vance Billeaudeau, Lila Buller and Camille Clay; 5 great grandchildren, Olivia Buller, Colette DiLorenzo, Evangeline and Asher Lail and Bella Thomas.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, George William and Rita Mire Buller; 3 grandsons Michael and Jared Buller and Caleb Doucet.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas.
