She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel, Sr. Johnson and Eula Johnson; and her son Jordan Brown. She is survived by: her husband Christopher Brown, Sr.; her children, Jamacos Johnson, Christopher Brown, Jr. of Opelousas, Chance Brown of Opelousas and Ta'Mara Brown of Opelousas; and her siblings, Nathaniel Johnson, Jr. of Opelousas, David Johnson of Baton Rouge, Shelia White (Starrel) of Opelousas, Sheryl Johnson of Opelousas and Nicole Villery of Opelousas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church (134 C. Alley St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Landry Cemetery (980 N Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
