He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernesto Medley and Flora Elizabeth Marlowe; and his brothers, Ernesto Medley, Jr. and Billy Jean Medley. He is survived by: his wife Adelina Melancon Medley of Opelousas; his stepdaughters, Lynette Dugas and Lindsey Boudreaux; and his sister Barbara Martinez of Venice. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
