It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octavia Turner Bob (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Turner and Isabella Smith Turner; her aunt Stella Turner Ross; her uncle Rev. Joseph S. Ross; her husband Reed Bob; her children, Henry Williams Jr. and Juquita Williams Bob; and her cousins, Edward Ross and Olivia Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Williams, Jesse Williams, Rodgers Williams Sr. (Gilda) and Lester Williams (Georgia); and her goddaughter Patricia Cain Amos. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
