It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Octave Jones (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jones and Dorice Jones; and his siblings, Morris Jones, Corris Jones, Rayfield Jones, Peter Jones, Joseph Jones, Harry Lee Jones, Lester Jones, Mary Jones, Lee Anna Malveaux and Maureen Malveaux.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Ester Edwards of Opelousas, LA, Evangelist Gwendolyn Edwards (Larry) of Opelousas, LA and Rev. Paul Jones (Linda) of Beaumont, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
