He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Newman and Martha Sonnier Newman; and his siblings, Dalton Newman and Doris Newman. He is survived by: his wife Betty Seriale Newman of Opelousas, LA; his son Chazz E.; his brother Roger Newman (Roseanna) of Opelousas, LA; and his grandsons, Chazz E. Newman, Jr. and Chamberlain E. Newman.
