She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jeffrey Thornton (Jana) and Rinea Blanchard; and her siblings, Neil Herman (Madeline), Karel Titus (Gary) and Kareen Koltes Christiansen (Guy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (207 Camille St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
