With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicole Marie Richard of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away on January 2, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Richard and Bessie Richard; her brothers, Ronald and Donald Richard; her grandparents, Alphonse and Delores Richard; her nephew Damian Mumphord; her close friends, Chad Roberts and Wilton Gradney; and her cousin Flora Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Chloe Richard, Tamaal Richard and Marlon Richard; her sisters, Kimberly Sylvester, Unrica Richard, Carla Richard, Amanda Richard, Stacy Richard, Chasity Richard and Ranatta Richard; her aunts and uncles, Linda, Barbara, Patricia, Daniel, Tom and Harold; her godchildren, RaKayla Kennerson and Elijiah Pierre-Auguste; her sweeties, Beatrice and Melvin Charlot, Sr.; her daughters, Jasmine Davis and Paige Fontenot; her granddaughter Jo'Leia Reed; and her close friend Marvin Young. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (817 E South St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church (830 Pulford St, Opelousas, LA 70570).
