She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Brown, Sr. and Elizabeth Greene Brown; and her siblings, Calvin Brown, Jr., Rev. Phillip Brown, Sr., Manuel Brown, Paul Amos Brown, Syble Brown Siverand, Lucille Brown Woods, Albertha Brown Joubert Fontenette, Louvinia Brown Newton, Ella Mae Brown McDowell, Mattie Brown McClain and Theresa Brown Jackson Twiggs.

She is survived by: her daughter Shereda Arvie Semien (Keidron) of Baytown, TX; her siblings, Joseph Brown (Georgia) of Lake Charles, LA, Leonard Brown of Texas City, TX, Myrtle Brown Livingston of Grambling, LA, Elizabeth Brown Villery of Yuba City, CA and Mary Brown Dupre (Robert) of Opelousas, LA; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Jaylon, Kynlee and Kaydence Naomi. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
