She is survived by: her son Dwight I. Batiste (Meagan); her husband Donald E. Giron of Opelousas, LA; her grandchildren, Madison of Houston, TX, Abby of Houston, TX, Chase of Houston, TX and London of Houston, TX; her siblings, Ester P. Jones and Paul W. Pickney; her niece Tonya Richard; her close friend Florence Pickney; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Walker (Irvin) of Lafayette, LA and James Giron (Joan) of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
