She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Savant and Frances Roberts Savant; her son Michael Wayne Esprit, Sr.; her siblings, Peter August Savant and Georgiana Savant; and her granddaughters, Tawasha J. Esprit and FaShon A. Esprit.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Esprit, Sr. of Opelousas, LA; her children, Frank Esprit, Jr. (Betty) of Opelousas, LA, Sheryl Henderson of Opelousas, LA, Shirley Esprit (Michael) of Opelousas, LA, Laura Esprit (Martin) of Opelousas, LA and Charla Esprit (Chad) of Opelousas, LA; and her siblings, Harry Allen Savant of Opelousas, LA, Ferlis Ellis of Houston, TX and Dorothy M. Achan of Beaumont, TX. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
