She was predeceased by: her parents, Aramise Auzenne and Carrie Decuir Auzenne; her husband Antoine Emile Lemelle; her sisters, Ruby Auzenne Chavis, Emily Ruth Auzenne and Velma Helen Lastrapes; and her siblings-in-law, Adolph Auzenne, Norman Chavis, John, Herman, Joachim Lemelle, Lydia Chargois and Mable Medina.
She is survived by: her children, James Auzenne (Glenda), John Lemelle (Cynthia) and Carla Donato (Jerome) of Opelousas, LA; her siblings-in-law, Jude "Bunny" Lastrapes of Prairie Laurent, LA, Felix Lemelle of Beaumont, TX and Florence Auguillard of Leonville, LA; her godchildren, Tanya Griffin and Dwane Chavis; and her close friend Catherine "Zee" Fournier of Opelousas, LA.. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
