She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Bernard and Charles Bernard; her stepmother Lydia H. Bernard; and her brother Richard Tate. She is survived by: her sisters, Tricia B. Disheroon of Opelousas and Rebecca Chelette of Denham Springs; and also, Mary Curtius and Missy.
