He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Olivier Cardana; his daughters, Kimberly Simpson (Ken) and Kristy Cardana (Rob Snyder); his stepdaughters, Jacqueline Brickley LeJeune (Anthony) and Jennifer Brickley Stagg; his grandchildren, Kylan Brickley, Trebor Brickley, Lillian Brickley, Montana Brickley, Cooper Brickley, Walker Brickley, Sydnie Maude (Lawrence), Anthony LeJeune, Jr. (Haley), Jacob LeJeune (Annabelle), Katherine Menier, Richard Menier and Edward Menier; and his great grandchildren, Alice, Claire, Carter, Gabriel and Levi.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4708 I-49 Frontage Rd, Opelousas, LA 70570).
Memorial contributions in the name of Michael Cardana may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
