It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maude Esther Hardy-Warren (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Warren; her parents, Jerry Hardy and Nettie Hardy; her brother Matthew Hardy; her granddaughter Hannah Thomas; and her son-in-law David Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Hardy of Opelousas, LA, Alvin Paul Warren of Opelousas, LA, Shelia Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Debra Faye Hardy (Rogers) of Opelousas, LA, Kathleen Warren of Opelousas, LA, Maxine Warren (Brian) of Opelousas, LA, Karen Warren Perry (Sherman) of Eunice, LA and Sharon Fontenot of Atlanta, GA; and her siblings, Felton Hardy (Lelia Mae) of Opelousas, LA, Freddie Thompson (Wanda) of Houston, TX, Doris Williams of Opelousas, LA, Mildred Hardy of Opelousas, LA, Mary Louise Richard of Opelousas, LA and Marjorie Goodman of Oakdale, LA. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
