She was predeceased by: her parents, Durpha Thomas and Rita Bihm Thomas; her brother Paul Thomas; her aunts and uncles, Melvin Bihm, Clifton Jones, Shirley Bihm, Thelma Handy, Mildred Collins and Natalie Bellow; her son-in-law Desmond Lewis; and her great grandchild Lathan Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Richard (Paulette) of Carencro, LA, Joseph Kirk Richard (Shawntrese) of Snellville, Georgia, Kandice Lewis of Carencro, LA and Crystal Renee Richard of Opelousas, LA; her siblings, Andrew Thomas (Linda) of Houston, TX, Audrey Moore (Larry) of Houston, TX, Patricia Ann Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Linda Gallow (Donald) of Opelousas, LA; and her aunts and uncles, Lawrence Bihm of Lawtell, LA, Ernest Bihm, Jr. of Lawtell, LA, Lionel Bihm of Lawtell, LA, Author Jones of Houston, TX, Delores Babineaux of Lawtell, LA and Dorothy Bihm of Lawtell, LA. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
