She was predeceased by: her parents, Clester Sonnier and Luday Bordelon Sonnier; her husband Jerry Conrad Vidrine; her siblings, Millard Sonnier, Jonior Sonnier, Taylor Sonnier, Carroll Sonnier and Terry Stelly; her nephews, Randy Deville, Carl Deville, Keith Gile, Jonathan Tomlinson and Stephen Sonnier; and her niece Lisa Deville.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Vidrine (Andrea), Belinda Hawks (Brad) and Marla Gibson (Skipper); her sisters, Cassie Deville, Jeanell "Tiny" Thompson and Connie Guidry; her grandchildren, Allen Hawks (Michael Prichard), Travis Hawks, Ashley Gibson (Ryan Marshall), Paige Massey (Chance), Morgan Kigerl (Thomas) and Luke Vidrine; and her great grandchildren, Aspen Marshall, Kelly Kigerl and Stella Marshall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Skip Montet Chapel at LaFond-Ardoin Funeral Home of Opelousas (2845 S Union St, Opelousas, LA 70570). A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (330 E Moundville St, Washington, LA 70589). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery - Prairie Ronde (3681 LA-104, Opelousas, LA 70570).
