With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Dardenne (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, H. D. "Des" Dardenne and Katherine Leche Dardenne; and her siblings, Henry D. (Dardenne) and Catherine Jane Dardenne (Kit) of New Orleans. She is survived by: her niece Margaret Dardenne (Peg) of Hoboken, NJ; her nephews, H. D. "Hank" Dardenne III (Nancy) of Burien, WA and James Dardenne (Allison Lee) of New York City; and her friend Mary Jane Phelan of New Orleans.
In lieu of flowers, the Marianites request that memorial donations be made to the Marianites of Holy Cross Congregational Center at 75520 LA-Hwy 1081, Covington, Louisiana, 70435.
