She is survived by: her children, Blake Richard (Della) of Lafayette, Gary "Gap" Richard of Opelousas, Sheila Lanclos (Moise) of Opelousas and Jackie Richard of Opelousas; her brothers, Gilbert Olivier, Jr. (Gloria) of Opelousas, Floyd Olivier (Gerry) of Opelousas and Joe Olivier (Debbie) of Opelousas; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Quirk, Kim Smith, Alexis Lanclos, Moise Lanclos, III, Aaron Lane and Tristan Higginbotham. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren.
