It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Maria Cervantes of Opelousas, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 92, on November 28, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Cervantes and Luz Calderon Cervantes; and her sister Magdalena Morley. She is survived by: her siblings, Rafael, Roberto Cervantes and Beatriz Hutchinson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to restrictions of COVID-19, a private funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 2nd, followed by burial in St. Landry Cemetery in Opelousas.
