She was predeceased by: her husband Lorenzo Joseph; her son Lorenzo Mitchell; her parents, Clarence Mitchell and Margaret Dixon Mitchell; and her brothers, Edward Johnson and Leon Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Angelica Mitchell of Opelousas, LA; and her brothers, James Sethrick, Sr. and Willie Ray Sam. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
