She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Hunter and Rosa Hebert; and her siblings, Hindenburg Hunter, Rose Jackson, Alice Granger and Audrey Duplechin.
She is survived by: her children, John Venable of Henderson, TN, Carol Broussard (Ricky) of Port Barre, Nicole Venable of Opelousas and Satla Allen (Philip) of Opelousas; and her sister Rachel Taylor of Opelousas. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
