She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby G. Pitre; and her parents, Darbes Soileau and Gertie Fontenot. She is survived by: her children, Marty A. Pitre (Suzanne) of Opelousas, Debra A. Pitre Trahan of Opelousas and Angela K. Fa-Kouri (David) of Baton Rouge; her grandchildren, Crystal Andrus (Allen), Dr. Jason Trahan (Katie), Joshua Trahan (Kristen), Kaitlyn Chamberlain (Joseph), Madison McElroy (Dylan), Samuel Fa-Kouri, Declan Pitre, Teagan Pitre and Cargan Pitre; and her sisters, Mercedes "Dee" Deshotel (L. C.) of Pine Prairie and Brenda Fontenot (Earl) of Pine Prairie. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
