With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Marie Thomas (Opelousas, Louisiana), who passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lionel Thomas, Sr.; her parents, Walter James and Theresa Jackson; her stepfather Jerry Jackson; her siblings, Alvin James, Martha Ann James and Gustavia James Simpson; and her grandparents, Frank, Gustavia James, Joseph and Theresa Eugene Clark.
She is survived by: her sons, Donovan Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Carl Thomas, Sr. of Opelousas, LA, Gavin Thomas of Opelousas, LA and Lionel "Tiger" Thomas, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; her brothers, Walter James, Jr. of Houston, TX and Clarence James of Opelousas, LA; her godchildren, Sheila Clark Anthony of Houston, TX and Youlanda Young of Opelousas, LA; and her close friends, Shirley Owens Colomb of Lawtell, LA and Thibodeaux of Opelousas, LA. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
