He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Lee Valmont; his parents, Malvin Valmont and Rosanna Valmont; and his siblings, Raymond Valmont, Louis Valmont, Jessie Rose Lee and Majorie James.

He is survived by: his children, Lloyd Valmont, Jr. (Liza), Kervin Valmont, Sr., Terry Valmont (Yolonda) of Nashville, TN and Janice Tanner (Clarence) of Opelousas, LA; and his siblings, Wilmond Valmont (Helen), Sherman Valmont, Jeanette Siverand of Opelousas, LA, Martha Edwards (James) and Rebecca Jones (Joseph). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
