She was predeceased by: her father Vincent Thomas, Sr.; her son Jonathan Joseph; and her brother David Metz. She is survived by: her mother Mary Metz of Opelousas, LA; her daughters, Samantha Joseph (Phillip Sanders) of Opelousas, LA and Latoya Joseph of Opelousas, LA; her siblings, Zerron Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Joseph Thomas of Opelousas, LA, Sheila Metz of Opelousas, LA and Demoricka Thomas (Coy Lee) of Opelousas, LA; her godmother Mary Fuselier; and her godchildren, Kizzy, Felton, Diashena, Quentin, Dawanna and Deandre. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
