She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Hooks, Sr.; her parents, Jules Victor Alexandre Marmottin and Alida Babineaux; her children, Curtis Hooks, Jr., John Robert Hooks, Christopher Hooks and Raye Marie Venable (Carl); her daughter-in-law Suzanne Robin Hooks; her siblings, Jules Marmottin (Blanche), George Marmottin (Viola), Lucie M. Stoute (Joshua), Julie Marmottin, Anaise M. Guilbeau (Camille), Leonie Marmottin and Hazel M. Hebert (Merlin); and her half-sisters, Celine Marmottin Prejean (Olide) and Pauline Marmottin Guidroz (David).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hooks (Ruth) of Opelousas, Ryan Hooks (Pamela) of Opelousas, Matthew Hooks (Ann) of Opelousas and Vanessa Thibodeaux (Darrell) of Opelousas; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Libello of Opelousas. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty one great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
