He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Vigie Leger and Louis Leger, Sr.; and his siblings, Agnes Dupree, Blanche Manuel, Cecile Schnexyder, Rose Ann Leger, Irene Vidrine, Ida Lorena, Rita Gerace, Preston Leger, Anthony "Slim" Leger and Henry Leger.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Leger; his brother Junior Leger (Glenda); and his close friend Alex "Shank" Howard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
