She was predeceased by: her husband Uriah Phillips, Jr.; her parents, Leonard Lavergne and Dana Guillory Lavergne; and her sisters, Barbara Dupree and Geraldine Noel.
She is survived by: her son Uriah "Chip" Phillips, III (Joley); her siblings, Ferrell Lavergne and Rita Bernita Fredieu; her grandson Brandon Phillips (Lindsey); and her great grandchild Walker Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sibille Funeral Home (2309 George Dr, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Bellevue Memorial Park (4833 LA-182, Opelousas, LA 70570).
