He is survived by: his children, Leon Ford (Mary) of Opelousas, LA, Rodrick Smith (Rachel) of Temecula, CA, Kevin Lemons (Pamela) of Ville Platte, LA and Shaquana Lemons of Ville Platte, LA; and his siblings, Joseph Babineaux (Mary) of Baton Rouge, LA, Alvin Babineaux of Opelousas, LA, Laurie Babineaux of Opelousas, LA and Ommanda Major (Mark) of Lafayette, LA.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Community Chapel Church of God in Christ (1606 College Ave, Opelousas, LA 70570). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
