He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lawrence Laws and Mosella Laws; his brothers, Roland, Kenneth, Roger, Sr. and Darrel Laws; and his nephew John Florence, Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Laws Papillion of Opelousas, LA, Janice Laws Goff (Trevor) of Fresno, TX and Pamela Laws of Baton Rouge, LA; his uncle Van Bryant, Jr. of Opelousas, LA; his aunt Aisha Wiley Mohammed of Tempe, AZ; and his godson Cody Laws of Webster, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
