He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Melton" Edwards and Sadie Green Edwards; and his siblings, Elroy, Donald, Leona and Iona.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Jones Edwards; his children, Desrick Edwards, Dedric Vigers and Erica Edwards Holley; his siblings, Harold Edwards, Darrel Edwards, James Edwards, Berlin Edwards and Ruby Edwards; and his grandchildren, Dedric Vigers, Jr., Kinlee Edwards and Sadie Holley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
